UPDATE: V Festival 2010 Weather Braced For 'Heavy Showers', Met Office Says

A Met Office spokeswoman told Gigwise that the best of the weather was reserved for the Chelmsford leg.

“Although it is looking rather cloudy this weekend it does look like it will remain dry,” she said, adding that temperatures would reach a high of 25 degrees.

In Staffordshire, heavy showers are forecast on Saturday, although festival-goers should still expect some sunny spells.

“Sunday is looking like the better day at the moment, dry with sunny spells,” the Met Office spokeswoman added.

Other acts due to perform at V Festival include The Prodigy, Editors, Stereophonics, Plan B and Tinie Tempah.
