V Festival 2010 Weather Braced For 'Heavy Showers', Met Office Says

Festival-goers at this weekend's V Festival should expect a mixture of sunshine and showers, the Met Office has said.

The festival runs at sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire from August 21-22, and will be headlined by Kasabian and Kings of Leon.

A Met Office spokeswoman told Gigwise that festival-goers in Stafford will face “fairly heavy and consistent” showers over the weekend.

But conditions will be warmer in Chelmsford, with temperatures reaching highs of 25 degrees.

Other acts due to perform at V Festival include The Prodigy, Editors, Stereophonics, Plan B and Tinie Tempah.

You can see Gigwise's 20 Must-See Acts At V Festival below, and don't forget to stay tuned for coverage from the festival throughout the weekend.
