Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neal debuted a new bleach-blonde haircut and matching beard as the band played the Reading Festival today (August 27).
The Scottish group delivered an impressive performance on the main stage ahead of Queens Of The Stone Age and headliners Guns N’ Roses.
Their set spanned their career, featuring a selection songs from their most recent album, 2009’s ‘Only Revolutions’.
Tracks from the record included ‘Born On A Horse’, ‘Mountains’ and ‘Bubbles’.The band also played ‘Saturday Superhouse’ and ‘That Golden Rule’.
Neal, who teamed his new blonde look with pink Day-Glo jeans, spoke sparingly during their performance, except to ask the crowd if they were “alright”.
And the audience responded accordingly as they sang along to recent single ‘Many Of Horror’.
Before closing song ‘The Captain’, Neal made reference to the band’s booking on the line-up.
“Up next are Queens Of The ****ing Stone Age and Guns of the ****ing Roses,” he said, adding: “Never thought I’d say that.”
