Fans of Guns N’ Roses have criticised the band after they arrived an hour late for their headline slot at Reading festival on Friday (August 27).
The delay meant organisers, who had already warned the band not to be late, were forced to cut their sound at midnight (BST).
Festival-goers and fans of the band have reacted angrily after frontman Axl Rose failed to apologise.
“They were warned,” Lilmissgogolbordello told Gigwise. “Morons the lot of em, glad I didn't bother with them.”
Raven said: “He needs to remember who bought it music all those years ago and be grateful.”
Fester described the gig as “awful”, while a number of fans also tried to defend the band and Rose’s actions.
“Well that was Axl’s signature,” Dima said. “Like it or not he's still my true rock n' roll rebel icon! The most dangerous band in the world!!!”
In a statement, organisers said Guns N’ Roses had been given an extra half hour on stage.
"Guns N' Roses wanted to 'extend' the new agreed curfew but were prevented from doing so in order to comply with the entertainment licence issued by Reading Council,” they added.
The band are due to headline Leeds festival tonight (August 29).

- if they were late in how did Axl tweet with a photo FOUR HOURS before going on? It took the promoter too long to get the stage set up, as the whole band were in the wings at 10:20!
- I went to see Guns and Roses at Maine Road, Manchester on their 1991 world tour. Guess what? They were three hours late getting on stage!!!
- Chris, they went on LAST so their equipment was already set up, if he had time to tweet then he possibly should have gotten ready to go on stage, let's face it, Axl Asshole Rose was always up his own arse and the fact that he's now living off yesterday's glory hasn't registered with him, he still thinks he can keep fans waiting for hours... That's not a Chinese Whisper (yeah, that album really dropped off the charts...)
