A Bulgarian man is planning to have a sex change in order to look like Lady Gaga, it's been reported.

Penio Daskalov, 24, has apparently hired a team of cosmetic surgeons to help him launch a music career.

"I really admire the way she has created herself, so when I've had my operations I won't be quite a man or quite a woman," Daskalov told RadarOnline.

"I've already contacted her management and told them what I am doing and how I'd like to record a duet with her.”

Daskalov is known to Bulgarian TV audiences as a former Big Brother contestant. He successfully tricked housemates that he was a woman during his time on the show.

Last year Lady Gaga was forced to deny rumours that she was a hermaphrodite.
