Music fans at this weekend's Bestival festival should expect a mixture a sunshine and showers, the Met Office says.
The three-day event gets under way at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight on Friday (September 10).
A spokeswoman for the Met Office told Gigwise the weather was likely to remain dry until the festival begins on Friday, when there is a chance of some light showers.
But in a revised forecast from yesterday (September 8), festival-goers have been assured a mainly dry weekend, with Sunday seeing the best of the sunshine.
“Temperatures will reach a high of 20 degrees in the day and it will remain mild in the evenings,” the spokeswoman added.
Bestival will be headlined by The Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal and Roxy Music, and also feature performance from Wild Beasts, Delphic, The Flaming Lips, Ellie Goulding and I Blame Coco.
Recent Mercury Prize winners The xx also set to appear.
Gigwise will be bringing you all the latest reviews and photos from this weekend’s festival.
