Matt Bellamy: 'Bono Loved Muse And The Edge's Glastonbury Tribute'

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has revealed that U2's Bono enjoyed their tribute to the Irish band at Glastonbury.

The Devon three-piece performed the group's hit 'Where The Streets Have No Name' with U2 guitarist The Edge at the festival in June.

It came after U2 had been forced to pull of the event when Bono injured his back during rehearsals.

In an interview with BBC 6 Music, Bellamy said: "We heard from him via The Edge.

"We heard that he liked the performance we did at Glastonbury and he thought it was a fitting tribute to the band."

Meanwhile, Muse are due to play the first of two concerts at London's Wembley Stadium tonight (September 10).

They will be joined by Lily Allen, The Big Pink and White Rabbits.
