Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant To Perform At BBC Electric Proms

Led Zeppelin star Robert Plant will perform at this year's BBC Radio 2 Electric Proms in London, it's been announced.

The singer will collaborate with The London Orianna Choir at the Roundhouse on October 29.

The concert will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 at 8pm and also shown as a part of A Night With Robert Plant, a special evening dedicated to Plant's career on BBC Two on November 6.

Plant released his latest solo album, 'Band Of Joy', on Monday (September 13).

As previously reported on Gigwise, the BBC Radio 2 Electric Proms begin on October 28 with performances from Sir Elton John and Plan B.

Additional acts set to appear at this year’s Electric Proms will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets will be available later this month. Details of how to purchase them will be announced shortly.

  • Why is he referred to as "Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant"? This is about his solo career and has nothing to do with LZ.
