Katy Perry: Nicki Minaj Is The Truth

Katy Perry has praised rising hip-hop star Nicki Minaj.

In an interview with MTV, the singer said she was a big fun of the star and was looking forward to the her debut album.

"I think Nicki Minaj is the truth," she said. "I think she is amazing, and I love her sense of style. I love her beautiful figure. It's hot."

Minaj is due to release her debut album 'Pink Friday' in November, while Perry's latest album 'Teenage Dream' was released last month.

Both Perry and the rapper were at last weekend's MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. You can see highlights below on Gigwise.
