Former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr has blocked comedian Harry Hill from performing a medley of the band's hits on his new album.
Hill's covers were set to be included as a bonus track on 'Funny Times', which is released next month.
But Marr is understood to have asked the comedian not to use the Manchester band's songs.
It comes after Hill was also prevented from naming the album after The Beatles' classic 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' .
"He's already on his third choice of album title and now Johnny's had a sense of humour bypass,” a source told The Sun.
'Fun Times', released on November 8, features a guest appearance from ABC's Martin Fry and TV presenter John Craven.
