Arcade Fire, Lady Gaga Set For Q Awards 2010

Arcade Fire, Lady Gaga and Kasabian are among the acts nominated for this year's Q Awards, which are due to take place later today (October 25).

The Canadian band lead the nominations alongside Plan B with three each, including Best Album.

Rapper-turned-singer Plan B is also nominated for Best Male and Breakthrough Act.

Stars from the music world, including many of this year's nominees, are expected to attend the ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Florence And The Machine, The xx, Gorillaz, Muse, Kasabian and Gorillaz are all up for two awards each.

Lady Gaga, who is currently in London, is nominated for Best Live Act and Best Female - a category that also includes Florence & The Machine and Ellie Goulding.

As well as Plan B, the Best Male category includes Brandon Flowers, Dizzee Rascal, Paolo Nutini, Paul Weller.
