Demand for tickets to see Take That is bigger than Michael Jackson’s ill-fated comeback tour, one ticket agency has said.
In a statement, Ticketmaster said the call volume was “at least twice that of the Michael Jackson” last March.
The ticket website is one of a number of official agencies that crashed after tickets went on sale this morning (October 29).
“We are working to resolve the issues and we are confident that fans will be able to purchase tickets and we ask that they keep trying,” they added.
A Take That spokesperson told Gigwise there had been “unprecedented demand” for tickets to the group’s 14-date stadium tour next year.
The UK and Ireland dates will be the band’s first since they reunited with Robbie Williams.

Take That’s UK and Ireland dates are:
Sunderland, Stadium Of Light – May 30
Manchester, City Of Manchester Stadium – June 3/4/5/7
Cardiff, Millennium Stadium – 14
Dublin, Croke Park – 18
Glasgow, Hampden Park – 22/23
Birmingham, Villa Park – 27
London, Wembley Stadium – July 1/2/3/5
- haha 14 dates compared with MJ's 50 dates?? lol
- Well then it should be all sold out by now right? MJ sold 750 thousand tickets in a few hours. If they're twice as popular those shows should be sold out within the next 30 minutes. Right?
- Actually MJ had 10 shows which sold out in about an hour so he had to extend it to 50 due to demand
- PLEASE.... COME ON..... it's useless that YOU try to substitute Michael Jackson THE ONLY ONE.
YOU only make ridiculous yourself and people YOU try to sponsor. ROFLMAO
- yeah right i dont belives them. they are just saying to attaction michael jackson is bigger then take that. who is take that anyway? who care about them, michael jackson is number one and his always been
