Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has been nominated for the Face Of Travel 2010 prize at the World Travel Awards.
The singer, who holds a commercial pilots license, is shortlisted as a result of his new role as marketing manager of Astraeus Airlines.
The award recognises celebrities who have made the biggest contribution to the travel and tourism industry over the past year, reports Focus On Travel News.
Other nominees for this year's prize include Arnold Schwarzenegger, David Beckham and Kevin Spacey.
The Face Of Travel 2010 award will be handed out at the WTA Grand Final at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on November 7.
