Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle’s attempt to launch a solo career appears to have stalled after her debut single sold just 117 physical copies in a day.
The track, entitled ‘Insatiable’, also managed just 2,439 digital sales on Monday (November 1), putting it at number 35 in the midweek chart.
In Contrast, Coyle’s Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole’s single ‘Promise This’ sold 566 physical copies and over 27,000 digital sales, reports The Sun.
‘Insatiable’ is taken from Coyle’s debut album of the same name - both of which are available in physical formats exclusively from a major supermarket.
The track album features collaborations with Robbie Williams songwriter Guy Chambers and producer William Orbit.
Meanwhile, Cole is expected to top the UK album chart this weekend with ‘Messy Little Rain Drops’.
