Kings Of Leon are set to headline next year's Isle of Wight festival, organisers have announced.
The US band will top the bill on the opening night of the event, which runs from June 10-12 2011 at Seaclose Park, Newport.
John Giddings, the festival promoter, said; "We are proud to bring one of the world's biggest rock bands to the island on our tenth anniversary. It is an incredible way to start the weekend, I can't wait.”
The Isle of Wight festival will be the band's only UK major festival appearance of the year, organisers added.
Kings Of Leon released their fifth album 'Come Around Sundown' last month.
Tickets for the festival go on sale on Friday (November 19) at 9am. For more details and to buy Isle of Wight festival tickets, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
