A session singer has claimed he was asked to mimic Michael Jackson's voice for a new album.
Ricky Galliano, 27, said he recorded 21 songs for 2000 euros each in secret at a studio in Switzerland in October.
The singer now fears his vocals have been used on the forthcoming album 'Michael' – the authenticity of which has been questioned by members of Jackson's family.
"They were most insistent that I make my voice sound as much like Michael's as possible - to mimic him exactly,” Galliano told The Sun.
But bosses at Jackson's record label Sony have denied the claims as “fas fetched” and said they are certain the vocals “definitely” belong to the King of Pop.
The ten-track album includes collaborations with Akon, 50 Cent and Lenny Kravtiz, and is released on December 14.
