Nicki Minaj has described the success of her debut album 'pink Friday as a “dream come true”.
The rapper's first LP charted at number two on the US Billboard countdown last week - one place behind Kanye West.
During an appearance on Lopez Tonight, Minaj admitted she was struggling to find time to think about the speed of her career elevation.
"I've been trying to just absorb it but it's hard to pause," she said.
"It's difficult because my life is just on the go, so you rarely have a moment just to sit back and reflect and say, 'Hmm, my dreams are kind of coming true right now."
Minaj's debut album includes a collaboration with West, as well as Eminem and Rihanna and Drake.
