Gorillaz have denied reports that member Paul Simonon has suffered a stroke.
On Monday (December 13), Sydney's Time Out magazine claimed the former Clash star was in hospital after suffering a stroke.
But a spokesperson for the band's Australian promoters told Undercover that Simonon had attended a hospital but was fine.
“The story has been blown out of proportion,” the spokesperson said. “He wasn’t feeling well, saw the doctor but nothing was wrong.”
Gorillaz are currently performing in Australia as part of their world tour. For more details, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
