Viewers have complained about Rihanna and Christina Aguilera's performances on last weekend's X Factor.
Both stars delivered raunchy renditions of their new singles during part one of the final on Saturday (December 11).
Industry regulator Ofcom said it had received over 1000 complaints, while ITV have received a similar figure.
An Ofcom spokesperson told BBC News: “We are assessing the complaints but are not currently investigating the show."
Despite the complaints, last weekend's final was the most popular edition of The X Factor in its history.
Meanwhile, winner Matt Cardle is on course top take the Christmas number one spot with debut single 'When We Collide', a cover of Biffy Clyro's 'Many Of Horror'.

- ppl are so stupid LOL
- Rhiaana was absolutely beautiful. People should just turn it off or over if they don't like something. So that's about 2000 complaints in total against many millions who thought it was good and didn't complain. I think the complainers are out voted and should be ignored.
- Given the past videos and show dances of Rihanna and Christine Aquilera, it was rather short sighted of the X Factor producers to use these celebrities in a family show, before the watershed.
- its ok ppl saying she is beatifull but kids watch the x factor and they were a bit raunchy ,they should be told to cool down on shows like that.
- In all honesty I didnt see anything wrong with their routines on Saturday; not because Im male but because Im not a prude or overly sensitive. If people are complaining because they have children there, so what! Im sure most kids would look at it as JUST dancing and nothing else. It says there are as many complaints with Ofcom as ITV-its probably the same people cause they have nothing better to do with their time. If you dont like what's being shown the simple solution is-dont watch!
