The Inbetweeners star James Buckley is set to appear on Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Steve Cradock’s new solo album.
The actor, who plays Jay in the hit series, will play guitar on the as-yet-untitled effort, due out on February 14.
The pair agreed to collaborate after meeting at the band’s recent 21st anniversary gig in London.
A source told The Sun: “He got talking to Steve, who is a massive fan of The Inbetweeners, and he offered him the chance to play.
"He agreed on the spot and time has been booked in the studio."
Paul Weller also performs backing vocals on one song. The album will be available as a free download for a limited time from stevecradock.com.
