Bernard Wilson, a member of Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, has died. He was 64.
The US soul singer passed away on Boxing Day (December 26) from undisclosed medical complications in New Jersey.
Wilson was a member of the Blue Notes at a time when Teddy Pendergrass - who died in January - was also part of the group.
The ensemble scored their biggest international hit with ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’ in 1972.
Wilson left the Philadelphia soul group in 1977 shortly after Pendergrass quit, reports BBC News.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Motown star Teena Marie died over the Christmas period.
