TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek will feature on the new Jane's Addiction album.
The follow-up to 2003's 'Strays', set for release this summer, will see Sitek contribute on bass and writing, Spinner reports.
Sitek steps in for former Guns 'N' Roses bass player Duff McKagan, who left the band last year after ''creative differences''.
"Dave [Navarro], Steve [Perkins] and I are fully immersed in the process of making modern music. It has been a great experience thus far, and the results have so much potential," frontman Perry Farrell said in a statement
Meanwhile, Dave Sitek's side-project Maximum Balloo released their self-titled debut album last August.
