The Killers' Ronnie Vanucci Releases Solo Single 'Getaways'

The Killers' drummer Ronnie Vanucci has released his debut solo single 'Getaways'.

The track, available to hear on Gigwise at the bottom of this page, is the first single to be taken from his debut album, 'Big Talk'.

'Big Talk' was recorded at The Killers’ Battle Born studios in Las Vegas between November 2010 and January 2011 with producer Joe Chicarelli. It was mixed at London’s Assault & Battery with Alan Moulder.

Vanncci said: “I needed to do this. It's such a departure from what I'm used to, but now, having done it, it feels like the right thing to do. It all feels very natural. I can't sit on a couch very long.”

Vannucci will perform the album this summer along with his band and friend Taylor Milne.
