30 Seconds To Mars have fuelled rumours that they are set to go on hiatus following their current tour.

In an interview with MTV Canada, the group said they were ready to take time off due to the strains of constant touring.

Drummer Shannon Leto said: “We've been touring a long time. I mean look at us, we're broken down sugar. We're tired.”

When asked whether the band's break would be permanent, Leto relied: "No, we'll probably just take a break for, like, 10 years."

His brother, singer Jared Leto, then added: "A decade always seems to take the edge off.”

30 Seconds To Mars recently suggested that they may not record another album to follow-up their 2009 effort, 'This Is War'.
