Metallica To Play Groundbreaking Gigs In India

Metallica have announced that they will perform live in India for the first time.

The US rock group will perform two gigs in October as part of their first visit to the country.

The shows kick off at F1 Rocks at Leisure Valley in Delhi on October 28. The gig will celebrate the first Grand Prix race to be held in India.

The second show will take place at the Sonisphere Festival at Bangalore Palace Ground, Bangalore, on October 30.

Metallica said: “At this stage in the game, there are very few places in the world that we have not dragged our gear and crew to, so that makes this show announcement extra special for the first time ever, we will be visiting India for two shows! It’s about time, wouldn’t you say?!?!”
