Noel Gallagher And Ex-Manchester United's Gary Neville Continue Twitter Feud

Noel Gallagher and ex-Manchester United player Gary Neville have continued their Twitter war.

The former Oasis guitarist hit out at the footballer earlier this week (May 11) after he posted lyrics to the band's 1994 track 'Fade Away' on his Twitter.

According to The Sun Neville has now responded to the guitarist over text message saying: "Shouldn't you be writing a new album or has your pen run out of ink?"

To this, Gallagher replied: ''My pen runs on pure gold. Ink's for your daft mates' tattoos", to which Neville said: "Gold? If you take any longer you'll be on UK Gold."

Gallagher had the last dig with: "The thought of you humming my new tunes while combing your 'tache in the mirror makes me want to take another year off. But if you promise not to buy a copy when it comes out I'll get a move on."

Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher has announced the release date for his forthcoming solo album.
