Rapper M-Bone, a member of the hip-hop collective Cali Swag District, has been shot dead, it's been reported.
The rapper – real name Montae Talbert – was the victim of a random drive-by shooting in Los Angeles on Sunday (May 15), reports TMZ.
Talbert was apparently standing next to his car when gun shots were fired from another vehicle. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Cali Swag District were formed in Inglewood California by former Death Row artist Big Wy and Dairold Potts.
They are most known for their hit 'Teach Me Hot To Dougie' and 'Where You Are', which samples Michael Jackon's 'I Wanna Be Where You Are'.
The group have been scheduled to release their debut album this year.
