Lupe Fiasco has responded to the backlash he recently caused after calling Barack Obama 'a terrorist.'
The rapper, who released his latest album 'Lasers' earlier this year, claimed that Barck Obama is a 'terrorist' during a recent interview.
In a interview with CBS News, Fiasco criticised US president Barack Obama and America's view on world politics.
"In my fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama, and the United States of America. I'm trying to fight the terrorism that's actually causing the other forms of terrorism.''
The rapper says he stands by the statement he made: ''I've got nothing to clarify. It's Obama and the U.S. government," Lupe said, echoing his comments to CBS. "[It's] every president that came before him and every president that comes after him,'' Lupe told Billboard.
He added: ''It's funky because everybody's pulling soundbites from this one interview that we did, but they don't talk about anything else from the interview.''
