Example Blasted For 'Swagger Jagger' Twitter Joke By Cher Lloyd Fans

Example has found himself on the receiving end of Cher Lloyd's fans' wrath after making a joke about the X Factor reject's debut song.

Example had posted his jibes about 'Swagger Jagger' on Twitter, and perhaps didn't expect the angry reception his comments received.

He wrote: "Cher Lloyd's single has been leaked. The biggest crime since she got a record deal."

This prompted anger from the fans, which provoked Example to then write: "Around 20% of my mentions today have all been about how Cher Lloyd is actually better than me because she has more followers. Amazing."

Later on he added: "Dear Cher Lloyd fans, yes Cher Lloyd has 200,000 more followers than me but 300,000 of them are her cousins."

Yet he still wasn't finished, saying: "Everytime I hear the line 'get on the floor' in a modern pop song I think to myself 'that's genius, how do they come up with this stuff?'

Example found himself topping the singles chart last week, with 'Changed the Way You Kissed Me'.

A release date for Swagger Jagger has yet to be confirmed.
