Beyonce Backs President Obama For Second Term

Beyonce has announced that she will be backing President Obama for a second term in the re-election next year.

The singer, who performed at the Etta James classic "At Last" during the Obamas first dance as president at the inaugural ball in 2009, believes he is doing a 'great job'.

''I did the first time and I will again. I think he's doing a great job. I think he's fantastic. I think he needs another term, he needs more time,'' Beyonce told CNN's Piers Morgan.

Beyonce headlined Glastonbury festival last weekend, and also played a surprise show at Shepherd's Bush Empire last night (June 27).

Meanwhile, Beyonce has spoken of her desire to avoid scandals and gossip surrounding her marriage to Jay Z in favour of focusing upon their music.
