Adele has confirmed that she has been given the all-clear after being struck down with laryngitis.
The singer had to cancel her recent US tour and a number of recent appearances due to problems with her vocal chords.
''It's basically a hole in your vocal chord but I sang through it so that's why it popped. I'm better now it's fine, I got the all-clear,'' Adele told Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles.
Adele will return to the stage on Thursday (July 7) for the iTunes festival in London.
The line-up already includes Coldplay, Kasabian, Manic Street Preachers, Beady Eye, Foo Fighters, James Morrison, Friendly Fires, Duran Duran, White Lies, Noah And The Whale and Rumer.
Details about more acts due to play this year’s festival will be announced in the coming months. Check out itunesfestival.com for more.
