Red Hot Chili Peppers' New Guitarist Behind 'I'm With You' Album Title

Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Keidis has revealed that the band's new member Josh Klinghoffer came up with the title for their new album.

The band release 'I'm With You', their first new album in five years, on August 30.

Keidis told MTV News that Klinghoffer came up with the title after the band had been having difficulty thinking of one.

He said: "Josh showed up one day, maybe a day before there was some sort of deadline for a title, and he wrote ['I'm With You'] on a piece of paper and we all kind of put our eyes on it at the same time and went: 'That is the title of our record.'"

Klinghoffer was recruited to the band after John Frusciante quit in 2009.
