Adele: I Feared That I Would Never Sing Again

Adele has admitted that she thought she may never sing again after being diagnosed with laryngitis.

The London singer had to cancel her recent US tour and a number of recent appearances due to problems with her vocal chords.

''It's like 99.9 per cent better so I'm really, really chuffed,'' Adele told MTV.

She added: "I was just saying I thought I wouldn't be able to ever sing again about a month ago, so I'm really relieved. And it went great and my voice ain't hurting, so I'm really pleased.''

Meanwhile, Adele held back tears as she performed her number one hit 'Someone Like You' during her live return in London last week (July 7).
