Lovebox Festival Weather Forecast 'Unsettled', Met Office Says

Festival-goers set to attend this weekend's Lovebox festival should expect an unsettled mixture of sunshine and showers, the Met Office has said.

The event takes place in Victoria Park, London from July 15-17, and will be headlined by The Wombats, Snoop Dogg and Scissor Sisters.

A spokesperson for the Met Office told Gigwise that Friday (July 15) would be the best day of the weekend, with temperatures up to 21 degrees with a dry, warm day and sunny throughout into the early evening.

''Saturday will see some light rain through the day but this should dry out for the evening. Day time temps slightly less than Friday with highs around 18 degrees.
 
Sunday is again looking unsettled with a mix of sunshine and showers and again temps in the high teens. Weekend temperatures will stay in the high teens.''

Lovebox will also host the likes of Lykke Li, Marc Almond, Katy B, Robyn, Example, Metronomy, Blondie, Beth Ditto and Foster The People, as well as a DJ sets from Peaches, High Contrast, Shy FX and Beardyman.
