Lil' Wayne's manager has assured fans that the release date for the rapper's new album 'Tha Carter IV' will not change.
The much-anticipated LP was originally due out this month, but earlier this week it was announced that the album will be released in August.
To make up for the delay, Lil' Wayne released a free mixtape earlier this week, entitled 'Sorry 4 The Wait'.
His manager Cortez 'Tez' Bryant told Billboard: "August 29, it's not changing. He put the mixtape and the album in my hand the same day. He turned it in [to me] yesterday.
"It's done for the most part, [around] thirty songs [that] I need to carve down to twelve to sixteen, with four or so bonus tracks."
Bryant also confirmed that Lil' Wayne had worked with Nas, Jadakiss and Tech N9ne on 'Tha Carter IV'. It is the rapper's direct follow-up to 2008's 'Tha Carter III'.
