Jennifer Lopez Announces Split From Husband Marc Anthony

Jennifer Lopez has announced her split from husband Marc Anthony after seven years.

The American Idol judge married singer Marc Anthony back in 2004 and the couple also have three-year-old twins Max and Emme, reports The Sun.

A statement from the couple said: ''We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."

''It is a painful time for all involved and we would appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

Meanwhile, fellow American Idol judge Steven Tyler has opened up about his drug past in his new memoir.
