Snow Patrol Unveil New Single 'Called Out In The Dark'

Snow Patrol have unveiled their comeback single 'Called Out In The Dark'.

The track, released on September 4, is the first single to be taken from their as-yet-untitled sixth studio album.

The group have been working with producer Jacknife Lee in Los Angeles on the album. It will be released later this year.

In 2010, keyboardist Tom Simpson has said that fans should expect a change of direction away from the band's rock foundations.

"Well, I don't know about techno but certainly it'll have an element of electronica about it,” he said.

Snow Patrol's last album, a retrospective of their singles entitled 'Up To Now', was released in 2009.

Their last studio album 'A Hundred Million Suns' was released in 2008.
