Mark Ronson: Amy Winehouse 'Like A Sister To Me'

Mark Ronson has paid tribute to Amy Winehouse, describing her as “like a sister to me”.

Winehouse was found dead at her flat in Camden, North London on Saturday (July 23). She was 27.

Ronson produced the singer’s critically-acclaimed 2006 album ‘Back To Black’, which earned five Grammy Awards.

In a statement, he told BBC News: "She was my musical soulmate and like a sister to me. This is one of the saddest days of my life."

Her record label Universal said it was "deeply saddened at the sudden loss of such a gifted musician, artist and performer".

Tributes to Winehouse have been pouring in from celebrities and fans on social networks. Police have said her death is unexplained.
