More about:

Miles Kane has said he is talking to Arctic Monkeys star Alex Turner about getting together again to record a new Last Shadow Puppets album.

The duo released their debut album 'The Age Of The Understatement' in 2008, but in recent years have chosen to focus on their own projects.

However, in an interview with Gigwise, Kane, who is currently promoting his debut solo album 'Colour Of The Trap', said they were eager to start work on the follow-up.

“Yeah we're always talking about it. It's just one of them things really,” he said.

“We were both talking about it the other day, around how we could work it. At the moment it's hard as we both have stuff out and tours coming up.

“But for me I think I’d just like to do a second album relatively quickly and I’m sure if we were to do a second Last Shadow Puppets album then that would come soon after.”
