Kanye West Records Amy Winehouse 'Back To Black' Tribute Song

Kanye West has recorded a tribute song to Amy Winehouse, according to reports.

The rapper has apparently laid down his own take on one of the late singer's biggest hits, 'Back To Black'.

“It’s pretty emotive. It’s Kanye singing from the heart – with synthesisers,” a source told the Daily Mirror.

As previously reported on Gigwise, West paid tribute to Winehouse during his headline performance at The Big Chill festival earlier this month.

The rapper closed his performance on the main stage with a medley of Winehouse’s hits, ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’ and ‘Back To Black’. The singer died last month at the age of 27.
