Festival-goers who are preparing to travel to this weekend's Leeds Festival have been told to expect a mixture of sunshine and showers, the Met Office has said.
The festival, which takes place alongside the Reading festival from August 26-28, will feature headline performances from Pulp, The Strokes, My Chemical Romance and Muse.
A spokesperson for The Met Office told Gigwise that campers arriving on Thursday (August 25) should be braced for a wet start, but this will clear later.
On Friday, there will be a mix of sunshine and light rain, but conditions will improve going into the weekend.
“There will be some strong gusts of wind but it will be a dry weekend with sunny spells,” the spokesperson said, adding that temperatures will reach highs of around 18 degrees.
Other acts on the bill include Interpol, Elbow, The National, Pete Doherty, 30 Seconds To Mars and Bring Me The Horizon.
