Florence Welch Admits She's 'Still Learning How To Sing'

Florence & The Machine's Florence Welch has revealed that she is 'still learning how to sing'.

In a recent interview the singer discussed the process of making the band's forthcoming second album and said she has more control over her voice than on debut album 'Lungs'.

''I'm still learning how to sing. I'm learning restraint. When I first started singing, I just used to scream all the time. When I first played in pubs and clubs with just an electric guitar it was the only way to get people to pay attention, but I think I've got more control now having performed a lot more, I'm still screaming at some points though,'' Welch told Radio One's Zane Lowe.

Florence And The Machine unveiled a new song called 'What The Water Gave Me' online last week (August 23).

The track is the first song to be taken from the Florence Welch-fronted band's as-yet-untitled second album, which is released on November 7.
