JLS have announced details of a UK arena tour, which will take place in the new year.

The former X Factor band's 4th Dimension Tour features 12 dates, starting at Liverpool's Echo Arena on March 13.

JLS will also play dates in Birmingham (March 16), Cardiff (19 and 20) and London (23 and 24).

The tour will conclude at the SECC in Glasgow on April 4.

In a statement, JLS said: "The boys are thrilled to announce their 2012 UK Arena tour!"

JLS are currently working on their third album, which is expected to be released ahead of the tour next year.
