Dappy Confirms N-Dubz Are Planning To Split

N-Dubz's Dappy has confirmed that the band are planning to split up in the next couple of years.

The rapper, who is set to release his solo single 'No Regrets' on September 19, said the band each want to focus on their own careers and will release a greatest hits before splitting up.

Speaking to the Mirror, Dappy said: ''The band is definitely going to quiet down for the next year-and-a-half to two years. We may release some stuff every six months but it will definitely be quieter. Then, at the end of that period, we will do a 'Greatest Hits' or 'Best of N-Dubz'. Then that'll be it: finished.''

Earlier this year a spokesman for the band said: "The band will continue despite solo projects. They have gigs throughout 2011 and plans are in place for another single and album. The band are definitely not splitting up."

Band member Tulisa Contostavlos is currently a judge on the new series of this year's X Factor along with Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh.
