Snow Patrol, Jason Derulo To Play MTV Europe Music Awards 2011 Free Gig

Snow Patrol and Jason Derulo are set to perform a free gig alongside this year's MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs), it's been announced.

The event will take place at Belfast's City Hall on the same day as the awards ceremony on November 6.

“We’re really looking forward to performing for the EMAs at such a special location on home-turf,” Snow Patrol said.

“It’s going to be a great night and a lot of fun.”

Lady Gaga looks set to dominate this year's EMAs after picking up six nominations.

The singer is shortlisted for all the major awards, including Best Pop and Best Female.

She will go up in the latter category against Katy Perry, who along with Bruno Mars has four nominations.

Artists confirmed to perform at the ceremony include Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jessie J.
