Beyonce 'Delays London Fashion Week Show For No-Show Gwyneth Paltrow'

Beyonce delayed the unveiling of her new clothing range at London Fashion Week so Gwyneth Paltrow could attend – but the actress never turned up, it's been reported.

The singer, who is close friends with Paltrow – the wife of Coldplay's Chris Martin – held up proceedings by 45 minutes in the hope that she would turn up.

But despite phone calls, Paltrow didn't make it to the House of Deréon catwalk show, according to The Sun.

Beyonce (r) and her mother, Tina, showcase the singer's new fashion line in London.

"Beyonce halted the whole thing because she thought Gwyneth was about to arrive,” a source said. "She kept calling her but she didn't show. People couldn't wait any longer and they had to get on with it.

"Beyonce wasn't angry. She was just disappointed."

Paltrow's no-show can perhaps be explained by her attendance at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (September 19).
