Jane's Addiction Postpone The Release Of New Album 'The Great Escape Artist'

Jane's Addiction have delayed the release of their new album 'The Great Escape Artist'.

The band, fronted by Perry Farrell, were due to release their fourth album on September 26, but have now announced that 'The Great Escape Artist' will scheduled for October 17.

Tracks set to appear on the album include 'Twisted Tales', 'I'll Hit You Back', 'Broken People', 'Splash A Little Water On' as well as 'End To The Lies' and 'Irresistible Force'.

The follow-up to 2003's 'Strays' features TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek on bass.

The band have also unveiled the artwork for 'The Great Escape Artist', which can be seen below on Gigwise.

Jane's Addiction, who were due to headline the NME/Radio 1 Stage at this year's Reading and Leeds festiva, pulled out of their slot last minute, citing that singer Perry Farrell’s vocal chords were severely swelled
