Rihanna triggered huge excitement in Belfast yesterday (September 27) as she shot her new music video in the Northern Irish city.

Less than 24 hours after being told off by a farmer for stripping in his field in Bangor, the shoot for Rihanna's new single 'We Found Love' moved to the New Lodge area of the city.

Hundreds of fans swarmed onto the streets for a chance to see the singer shortly after she arrived at 12pm.

The shoot continued throughout the afternoon, with Rihanna taking a break at one point to speak to fans via a megaphone.

The Belfast Telegraph reports that the previous night the singer had visited a fish and chip shop in the city.

Rihanna was swamped by fans at New Lodge.

On Monday (September 26), Rihanna was forced to abandon part of the shoot in County Down after she was told to put her clothes back on by a farmer.

DUP Alderman Alan Graham, who had allowed Rihanna to use the field, said he was going to fetch is tractor when he spotted what the singer was wearing.

"I thought it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did," he told BBC News.

"I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I'm coming from. We shook hands.”

'We Found Love' is Rihanna's new single with Calvin Harris and is the first to be taken from her forthcoming album, which is released in November.
