Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed that the she has received a high level of abuse after being confirmed as a judge on this year's X Factor.
The N-Dubz star, who replaced Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, said she expected abuse but not to the level she got.
"I was getting tons of abuse. I felt like at least 50 per cent of the nation hated me... If you're not an N-Dubz fan, you're not going to be a Tulisa fan, so I expected abuse. But I didn't know it was going to be at that level,'' Tulisa told You magazine.
She added: "It was intense: 'How dare you be replacing Cheryl or Dannii?', 'You're a f*cking whore'. The main stigma was 'chav'. 'She's not classy, she's not a lady, she's a gobby chav.'"
Meanwhile, Cheryl Cole has spoken for the first time about being sacked as a judge on The X Factor USA.
The X Factor has now reached the live stages of the series.
