The Stone Roses' Reunion Tickets Appear Online For 1,500 Pounds

The Stone Roses' fans have expressed their anger after tickets for the band's reunion shows have been snapped up by ticket touts.

The band, who announced their reunion at a press conference on Tuesday (October 18) originally planned to play two hometown shows at Manchester's Heaton Park on June 29 and 30, as well as going on an extensive world tour.

Due to phenomenal demand for tickets after they went on sale this morning (October 21) an additional date was added for Sunday June 31.

220,000 tickets sold in 68 minutes with the first two nights selling out in 14 minutes.

The tickets priced at £55 have now appeared on auction site eBay, up to 20 times their face value, with some priced at £1,500.

Fan nicoloola said over Twitter: 'There are currently 246 listings for tickets on ebay already for Stone Roses tickets....Touts are horrible people.'

Original members - frontman Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Mani and drummer Reni  -  revealed that they have already started rehearsing for the tour, which won't get underway until the summer of 2012.
